77, Lititz Woman’s Club member
Dawn C. Ecenroad, 77, Lititz, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013 at Audubon Villa, Lititz following a 10-year illness, she is finally at peace.
Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Mildred E. Wagner Reed. She was married to Donald L. Ecenroad and they would have been married 60 years on Aug. 29. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters: Margo (Craig) DeSantis, Lititz; Kathleen (Michael) Schulz, Centerville; Jolyn (Henry) Gibbel, Lititz; nine grandchildren: Chad, Jennifer, Dustin, Amber, Zachary, Wesley, Evan, Alexander and Cameron; one great-granddaughter: Stella; a sister: Linda Hilton; three brothers: Phillip Reed, Hellam, Mike (Bev) Reed and Joel Reed, both of Lititz. Dawn was preceded in death by a brother: David Reed and a grandson: Joshua.
Dawn attended the former Rothsville High School. She worked most of her life in food service. Dawn also worked as a sales clerk at Tiger’s Eye, Lititz, prior to her illness. She had been a member of the Lititz Woman’s Club, where she helped maintain the Lititz Square and helped with the Christmas tour. Dawn was also a member of the Lititz Historical Foundation where she helped with the Apple Festival. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening and doing crafts. Dawn’s family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Audubon Villa for taking such wonderful care of her.
Dawn’s Life Celebration Memorial Service and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be sent to Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Rd., Lititz, PA 17543 or Lititz Woman’s Club, 325 Gochnauer Ave., Lititz, PA 17543 (for maintenance of the Lititz Square) in Dawn’s memory.
