Ruthie A. “Julie” Gagliardi
Born in Havana, Cuba she was the daughter of the late Cecil Peter and Dora Nora (Villadamigo) Escalante. She was married to Lawrence J. Gagliardi for over 43 years.
Ruth was a homemaker most of her life raising her children.
She enjoyed cooking, writing, conversing on Facebook with her friends, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruth loved living in Lititz where she attended Life Spring Fellowship Church and was a true Christian who loved Jesus.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons: Michael Branella, of Playa Del Rey, Calif.; Arthur Branella, husband of Andrea, of Egg Harbor Twp, N.J.; Peter Gagliardi, husband of Susan, of Hatboro; two daughters: Annette Cooney, wife of Michael, of Dacula, Ga. and Lori Ruchalski, wife of James, of Lititz. Also surviving are four grandchildren: James Ruchalski, Jr., Michael Ruchalski, Carly Ruchalski, Benjamin Gagliardi; two step-grandchildren: Nicole Axelson, Nicole Lewis and a sister: Xiomara Brabazon, of Philadelphia.
A funeral service was held Feb. 1, 2014 at Life Spring Fellowship Church, Lititz, with Rev. Dennis Loose officiating. Interment in Witness Park, Lititz.
