Laura L. Roland
Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Susan Lausch Greenly. Laura was the wife of the late Amos H. Roland, who passed away in August 2004.
A homemaker, she was a longtime member of Long Memorial United Methodist Church in Neffsville, she volunteered with Meals on Wheels and enjoyed reading and playing games.
Laura will be lovingly remembered by her children: Sara Jane Wittel of Mount Joy, Nancy L. (John) Mitchell of Mount Gretna and Dennis L. (Margaret) Roland of Landisville; her six grandsons and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Edna Woomert, Clarence Greenly, Nora Keller, Paul Greenly, Ralph Greenly, Ivan Greenly and Gladys Harner.
Relatives and friends attended her Life Celebration service at Long Memorial United Methodist Church in Neffsville Feb. 1 with the Rev. Leonard Calhoun officiating. Interment was held at Long Memorial U.M.C. Cemetery.
